Sat down with the guys at Kwality Media last month while out in San Francisco to talk a bit about my recent solo show ‘Happy Endings’ at the Shooting Gallery.

This is the new piece I created for ‘The Detournements of Wynn Miller’ which opened this past Saturday at Exhibit A Gallery in Los Angeles. The piece is title “Free” and is 38″x38″ mixed media on canvas.

This is a short video put together from footage taken while working in my studio over the past couple months for my upcoming solo show ‘Happy Endings’ opening at the Shooting Gallery in San Francisco next Saturday.
This June I’ll be taking part in the group show ‘The Detournements of Wynn Miller’ at Exhibit A Gallery in Los Angeles. Each artist will create a piece of art featuring their own interpretation of a chosen Wynn Miller photograph (photo I will be interpreting shown above). Artists include Shepard Fairey, Eric Monson, Mark Gonzales, Nate Frizzell, Chloe Trujillo, Robert Trujillo, Axis, Jon Chase, Dennis McNett, Lauren Bergman, Richard Villa III, Nazrn, Shawn Barber, Votan, Michael Ruiz, Jeff Ho and others. Just posted some in-progress shots of a few new pieces I’ll be showing in my upcoming solo show, ‘Happy Endings’, opening at the Shooting Gallery this June. The show will feature over 50 new original works on canvas, wood, and paper ranging in size from 12″ x 12″ to over 9′ x 6′. More preview photos here
In the process of starting up a lot of new work for a couple shows this summer, went out the other day to take some photos around Minneapolis for some inspiration.
